CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Lia Haddi jewelry is crafted using high-quality materials including 316L stainless steel, 925 sterling silver, and 14K or 18K gold-filled and gold-plated finishes. These materials are selected for durability, comfort, and everyday wear.

Our stainless steel pieces are nickel-free, lead-free, and cadmium-free. While many of our designs are water-resistant and tarnish-resistant, proper care will help preserve their finish and longevity.

Please note that individual skin chemistry (including natural pH levels) may affect how jewelry wears over time. This is normal and varies from person to person.

Follow the guidelines below to maintain your jewelry’s original beauty.

GENERAL CARE

• Avoid contact with household chemicals, cleaning agents, harsh soaps, perfumes, lotions, and hair products.
• Apply perfume, hairspray, and skincare before putting on jewelry.
• Remove jewelry before showering, swimming, exercising, or washing hands frequently. Chlorine and saltwater can cause damage or discoloration.
• Avoid excessive pulling, twisting, or tugging when putting jewelry on or removing it.
• Store pieces separately in a soft pouch or lined jewelry box to prevent scratching.
• Keep away from prolonged sunlight, excessive heat, and extreme temperature changes.
• Clean gently with a soft, lint-free cloth after wear to remove oils and residue.
• Do not use chemically treated polishing cloths or abrasive cleaners on plated jewelry.

With proper care, your jewelry will maintain its shine and structure for years.

STERLING SILVER (925)

Sterling silver naturally oxidizes over time. This is not damage, but a natural reaction to air and moisture.

To maintain brightness:
• Keep away from harsh chemicals and cleaning fluids.
• Store in an anti-tarnish pouch or airtight container when not in use.
• Clean with a professional silver polishing cloth or a jewelry cleaner specifically formulated for sterling silver.
• Dry thoroughly after any exposure to water.

Always follow the General Care guidelines above.

GOLD-PLATED

Our gold-plated jewelry features layers of 14K or 18K gold over sterling silver or stainless steel. As with all plated jewelry, the gold layer may naturally fade over time depending on wear and care.

To preserve plating:
• Avoid showering or swimming while wearing.
• Remove daily to extend the life of the finish.
• Clean gently with mild soap diluted in water and a soft cloth.
• Do not use polishing cloths, ultrasonic cleaners, or harsh jewelry solutions, as they may wear down the plating.

If the base metal becomes visible over time, it will not turn green like brass-based jewelry.

Always follow the General Care instructions.

GOLD-FILLED

Gold-filled jewelry contains a thicker bonded layer of gold compared to standard plating, offering improved durability.

To care for gold-filled pieces:
• Keep away from harsh chemicals and abrasive surfaces.
• Clean with warm water and mild, detergent-free soap.
• Pat dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.
• Store separately to prevent scratching.

Adhere to all General Care guidelines.
